This vehicle is advertised at R1.5 Million!!  I cant imagine who would be able to afford such an exotic car!

Sister's Dinner - August

As it is Wendy's birthday month she got to choose where we would have our dinner - she chose the Foo Wah Chinese Restaurant.  We all had the set menu and it was really delicious!

After a really hectic day it was good relax and enjoy the evening!

Snow fell today in Johannesburg for the first time since 2007.  Everything looked stunning covered in the blanket of snow, however it caused chaos on the roads!  Power failures and robots out in many areas left tempers flaring!

This snap of cold weather is set to carry on for the rest of the week and with the long weekend coming up I think we will be spending our time at home catching up on some movies and keeping warm.

The Perfect Cup

Michelle's Coffee Shop - The Perfect Cup was featured on The Business Coach today.

Her shop is known for it's delicious pancakes, freshly roasted coffee beans and most importantly the cosy and relaxed atmosphere.

Mary & Coenie invited us to watch the show along with Michelle and her friends.  After the show we had a delicious lunch and spent the afternoon chatting.

Michelle is just the sweetest child and we wish her loads of success for "The Perfect Cup"!!!

In the bush - Zebula

We got to spend the weekend at Zebula.  We haven't been to the house since our holiday in December 2011 so when we were offered the weekend we decided it was time to get out there and relax.

Gina, Gordon and I left on Friday afternoon and arrived just after 5 and unpacked and relaxed.  We decided to go for dinner and went in the "land driver"as Ant calls it.  We had a lovely dinner but when we got back in to go home it wouldn't start!! Anyway we managed to get a lift back home in a taxi!  There's a first time for everything...

Norma arrived on Saturday mid-morning. We had lunch then played Scrabble in the afternoon.

On Saturday evening we had dinner at the clubhouse and were all in bed by 10.  Sunday we headed for home at about 9:30.  It's really quite far to go for such a short time, but worth it nonetheless!!

We stopped for brunch on the way home and this is the view from the Restaurant over the highway.

Sister's Dinner - July

Tonight was our monthly Sister's Dinner and we decided to go to The Promise Grill in Meyersdal.

We had a lovely evening chatting and catching up.
