Dinner with Rita

We had dinner at Gordon's Aunt Brenda as his sister Rita was here visiting from Barberton.  Amazingly enough it has been 4 years since we last saw her when she attended Gina's wedding.  It is incredible how quickly time passes!

We have all made a promise that it will NEVER take another 4 years for us to get together again.

Rita is an absolute darling and we had so much fun at this family dinner.

S & L Team Building

Stewarts & Lloyds arranged a "Team Building" Ten-pin bowling afternoon at Extreme Bowling in Bramley. We arrived at 3 and played two games.  At half-time we had delicious pizza.  I think it was a good afternoon for their team.  I'm not the best bowler and got a foul!  I redeemed myself by getting a strike and not being the person with the lowest score either!

We really had a fun-filled afternoon!

The injury after a week

Today my precious boy had to have an operation to remove excess breast tissue that the Dr's were worried about.  With the fact that men too can develop breast cancer, it was highly recommended that he have the procedure as soon as possible.

Marisa and I spent the day with him and Pappa G joined us in the afternoon.

We are expecting results on 22 March when the stitches will be removed.

On this miserable and wet day...

Sister's dinner

On Wednesday night we had our monthly "Sister's Dinner".  As its my birthday month I got to choose the restaurant, which was Aldeia.  A Portuguese restaurant in our area.  The venue is beautifully decorated and the service is good but the food is nothing to rave about.' The best part of my meal was the dessert - Creme Caramel - absolutely divine!

We had a lovely evening but missed Wends who was home looking after her sick baby and not feeling 100% herself either.
